Brandon went missing from his home in Barrie on Oct. 13 after a fight over video game use. The community rallied to search for the 15-year-old boy. His body was found on Nov. 5. Police do not suspect foul play in his death.
His parents have launched the Brandon Crisp Foundation in his name to help underprivileged children play minor sports in partnership with the Canadian Tire JumpStart program. Brandon loved to play sports so his parent felt it was very appropriate to help other children have a chance to participate.
Donations to the charity can be made at our office at Suite 5, 80 Colonnade Rd., Nepean or your local newspaper office in your community.
Collection boxes will also be at all Canadian Tire stores across Canada for two weeks.
